Wow. I’m sure I speak for the community when I say that our thoughts, prayers, and well-wishes are with Pat and his family. I’ve only been a community member for a couple months now, but already the hosts seem like family, and like family, we’re with each other through thick and thin.

So sorry to hear this. I can’t do much more than express sympathy and hope for the future. I got to meet Pat at my very first Gen Con. He’s such a strong part of this community, and a very funny guy. I hope his treatment is as painless and effective as possible. My heart goes out to Beth and their kids.

So sorry to hear. Mother-in-law got the same prognosis a few weeks back… fuck cancer.

Having had a grandma diagnosed with cancer just last month, my heart goes out to Pat and his family. I cannot agree more with Leif here, fuck cancer. I hope his treatment is swift, effective, and minimally unpleasant, and that his recovery is the same.

Pat shall get well soon, I wish him all the best to beat his illness. He is a very likeable podcaster and I miss his voice already, no less then his charming attitudes towards a variety of things. :) Best wishes from overseas!

I can’t tell half of you guys apart, but Pat has always been my favorite.
It’s not fair. I wish him the best of luck, and a lot of strength.
