What does ICO stand for?

Hopefully Ico, one of the best (and earliest) PS2 games, by the same company which eventually made Shadow of the Colossus.

This.

Everywhere I've seen the name in print, it's been in all caps.

Ah, ICO. There goes several hours, because now I have to replay it. Truly one of the best games of its era ... and probably still one of the best exploration/adventure games period. Tough choice between ICO and Sands of Time for me, though (which also included fairly decent escort segments, I might add, although not ICO good).

... How sad is it that the Genre hasn't seen anything comparable in around a decade?

Episode 4: Avarice is now up. We added Branden (SilverSeraph) as a host this time out, and I think he added nicely to the dynamic. :)

It's a little late, but that's only because Branden (SilverSeraphAE here) had nearly two-and-a-half hours of raw audio to turn into a 72-minute episode -- while starting classes. The man's an editing beast.

Episode 05, "Charity" -- Part 2 of our "Virtues & Vices" series -- is out! Banter and good advice abound. Enjoy, and as always, we welcome your feedback!

Here's a fun and promising statistic. In August so far, http://www.savingthegamepodcast.org has had 355 unique visitors (according to AWStats.) We've also had 350 unique podcast downloaders in August according to Blubrry Powerpress (our podcast-tracking service). That means all but five visitors downloaded, or played in the page, at least one STG episode. So thank you, everyone!

STG Episode 06, "Video Games", is now online! This one is just Branden and Peter -- as most of you know, I've been busy with our daughter and her health problems -- but these two guys did a great job on this topic. It's a short episode, so go ahead and download it and listen when you've got a few minutes!

Episode 07, "Dark Settings", is finally out! Like it says in the description -- we're not podfading yet!

Also, StG is doing a holiday fundraiser for P.E.G. Partners. Click the link for more info!

Listening to the Episode 0 now. I'm pumped.

I've been running a game that seems to be a study in how RPGs might have to work extra hard to be Christian-value affirming. (Despite the fact that all involved are Christian and know each other through church). Anyway, I'm hoping that I can get some good advice on how to make morality a bit more pressing to the players so that mass genocide is not the default solution to problems.
