Motumar is not a complicated man. He lives his life as he always has, day-to-day. He seems to abide by his own code. A morality, if you can call it that, which is alien to those around him. He seems to value his boat-brothers well being, but isn't too concerned about how his behavior affects them.
Raised by a cannibalistic tribe of Ists after he was taken from his homestead as a small child, Motumar has seen and done things that most would label inhuman. To the more cultured he is a savage, little more than an animal. Perhaps worse. Animals can be trusted, for the most part to act within their nature.
Reared among a brutality that most people shouldn’t endure, Motumar is surprisingly calm. Perhaps it is his confidence in his physicality, or a naivete of the savage among the civilized. He places little stock in fancy ways, knowing that when faced with true horror, most of those around him are nothing.
Motumar openly reveres the memory of Pops, who he saw as a father figure, and abides by what he believes Pops wished for him.
When all of your wishes are granted, many of your dreams will be destroyed.
