What is the secret "obvious" connection the players missed? (possible spoilers in replies)

I think it's Aurora. I think it's one of the US cities named Aurora, and I think they've had a clue which one. However, I don't recall the state referenced in the show, and it's a bit too much audio to sift through to double-check.
