A guy I know... sort of a friend (there's a story there), wanted me to go to a concert with him tonight. He knows that I don't really like heavy metal (there are exceptions but not many). I ask him whose playing, and every band he lists is a rediculously hardcore local group. I luckily had other plans (I'm gaming!), but he knows better. I like this guy less and less.

That's a very Bedolf Shitler kind of thing to say.

See, this is one that would explain much better verbally that in text, but this post really confused me at first.

I saw "tune that bass" and... wondered how the hell you could tune a fish. And for goodness sake, why would you need to plug it in?

(Then, of course, I realized I had thought the wrong pronunciation... felt silly... and shared with everyone.)

I LOLed.
Okay, that's enough of nothing.

I think I just got kicked out of home. Oh well, sitting in front of a Mac at my Grandma's house.

Not always. "Get out of my house, you Satanist" was pretty clear, coming from my father. Of course, nearly two decades later, those words have since been retracted, and only sting slightly to recall.

Here's hoping that this kick out doesn't take as long to resolve as my own...

So, your dad's now cool with you being a Satanist, then? ;)
