Why must companies ask you to fill the same information that is on your resume multiple times.

I just applied for a retail location and had to enter work history and education twice and submit my resume were all that info was in computer readable format.

Minimum wage cashier position literally took me an hour to file.

Yeah, I spent a few weeks doing a ton of those. It got real frustrating repeating the same process several times per application ... multiple times a day.

... Then someone suggested I try deliveries, signed up with Door Dash who does not give a fuck about anything if you can pass a background check, and started making mediocre money within the hour.
