What bugs me about sugar is that our made-in-canada sugar used to be from sugar beets. Now it's just refined cane sugar. Not grown here, lots of shipping and fuel expended, and the workers probably aren't getting adequately paid either.
Not that once it's refined down to white sugar it tastes any different. C 12 H 22 O 11 (or whatever) is the3 same wherever you get it.
(I've got extra time to sit home and whine tonight because I am missing gaming because of a stomach bug of some kind.)

There are plusses and minuses on either side. Sugar cane is carbon neutral in manufacturing as the pulp is burned to power the plants. On the other hand sugar beet pulp is good animal feed. What I find stupid is sugar beets became icky for people when a GMO variety was developed even though it's safe and the end product is 100% carbohydrates 0% DNA all sugar bets now are evil.

So I spend $131.50 on a e-text book rental. They charge a service fee on my order and charge me tax on the service fee. I'm left to wonder what service that fee is for. Operating a website? Providing an app? Being required to take tests/homework? McGraw hill has one hell of a racket.

Absofuckinglutly love when streaming service updates DRM and doesn't make sure it works on all devices that the old DRM worked on. So yeah I want to watch a show that I paid good money for on my Linux laptop and I simply can't.

Trying to learn Fusion 360 only using YouTube videos is fucking infuriating.

Never used Fusion 360 but from my understanding it works pretty much like inventor. What issues are you having.
