I think WoT is responsible for pretty much all the brand recognition in the US.

Yep, looks quite a lot like my new car. Maybe a bit smaller.

Probably not great on gas, but people would definitely think twice about cutting you off!

Apparently it took longer than I expected for them to start withholding while I was laid off. Tax time should be fun this year.

HA!

No.

I am just so fed up with 'socializing' via online web conferencing software that makes it feel more like work and less like hanging out with family/friends.

A. That is funny.

B. It's not work web conferencing that has me frustrated. It's social web conferencing. It has never felt 'social' to me. It's a piss poor substitute. And (at least in my social circle) we're getting to the point where a few individuals are resisting requests to say, do a backyard BBQ now that springtime weather is warming up. A rising pool of people have either had COVID or gotten vaccinated (my local area is doing pretty well on distributing the vaccine, they are almost to me). People are beginning to safely and carefully resume social contact. It's just that their own personal definition of safe and careful might not match.

And I get it. I really don't want to summon Mr. Rogers. I get someone wanting to take resuming socializing at their own pace. But I don't get expecting to be able to demand *others* begin resocializing at that same pace. Because they don't want to be left out.

In my experience this is a side effect of people realizing just how many of the meetings they are required to attend, they have absolutely no reason to attend other than mandate. Or perhaps more commonly, they are required to attend multiple 30-60minute long meetings where only 5-10 minutes of them affect their job in anyway.
