I would just like to remind the world that there was a Nascar driver named Dick Trickle.

I love going to work very near the holidays. I'm away from annoying extended family; there's less traffic; the office is quite. It's great.

Some years I feel the same way - no one to bother me so I can get things done that I have had to set aside for the emergency du jour - pet projects, code refactoring, data cleanup....

This is not one of those years.
I have zero motivation these days.

Some of you are very good with 3d printing stuff. I've got a question: how would you sharpen the edges of a 3d printed cookie cutter?
I got some really beautiful video game themed ones including a tiered star, but the layer lines and the blunt cutting edge make it hard to get the cookie out. I've been using it to just imprint the dough, then cutting it with a sharp knife, but if I can improve the cutter it'd be a faster process.

If you print with thinner walls it'll work better. Alternatively you can manually sharpen the cutter with a rasp and polish it with acetone deposition.

I didn't print it myself, I bought it. The rasp and acetone are within the scope of my abilities. Thanks.
