Personally, I use a $20 M$ keyboard, on which the command key is labeled "Alt". It's still a Command Key.

Jeez, Keith! Did you leave your easy-going nature and near-legendary composure behind in Australia, or did you just pick up some new angst from the locals while you were there? :o

Great googly-mooglies, no. I think it's a failure on my part to communicate tone. If I had spoken the phrases aloud, you would have heard the gentle humor behind the words. I probably should have put in a ;)

My only intent in the correction in the first place was to clear up terminology that could cause problems for anyone learning the Mac OS. They might be puzzled by the lack of mention of an "Apple Key" in any documentation, anywhere. Saying "Apple Key", is like saying "I had to check my internet for email." It makes the speaker look uninformed and causes confusion. People are free to call the key "George" if they want.

I tend to use "apple key" for the sake of clarity. If one looks at their keyboard they wont see a key that reads "cmnd". Mentioning the apple is merely intended to help them find it faster. Beyond that, I am way out of my depth, so I'll shut up on the topic. :)

An "ugly sumbitch" key featuring the head of a wombat would be amusing. ;)

The last time I used an apple computer I think that there was a pciture of an apple on the 'Nancy' key. A black and white one if I remember right.

The new one does have the whole word 'Command' written on it.

At those prices I guess they can afford the extra cost of printing. :)

Look where the Blue + is by the thumbnails and click on it or the thumbnails them selves.

I know exactly what my internet allotment is, and how much of it I own. I only check my email when the yahoo is within it.

The Command Key dropped the Apple Symbol for good and all in 2007. It has had the cloverleaf symbol since 1984, the beginning.
Documentation has always used the cloverleaf or the word "Command" or some abbreviation thereof.

As for the price of the keyboard, I really don't see that as having anything to do with the topic at hand.
