So even though I've done probable 15-20 of these I can't bel-IEVE I've never done this one: What is your preferred drinking water temperature and why?

I think the distinction between cool and cold is likely to be somewhat subjective, particularly as you also have ice cold as an option.

I prefer my water to be cool, but definitely not ice cold. How cold will vary a little depending on how hot I am at the time. In other words, now much cooling I want from my water. I do suffer from mild tooth sensitivity, though, so I will normally err on the cool side of cold.

I'm an ice cold man, preferably with nearly as much ice as water. Even when it's really cold outside/inside I almost always prefer ice cold water or very cold water. I dunno why, ive always preferred it that way even as a kid, I think it just seems more refreshing to me that way.

Cool. I can only drink ice cold water so fast, and when I'm working outside in 100+ degree temperatures I want to be able to guzzle freshwater like it's going out of style.

To me water is an ingredient. If I drink it at all it has to be very cold, perhaps not actually starting to form ice crystals, but very cold, and then I drink it slowly. For rehydration it's going to be cold tea or dilute juice. But water Iwant to be very cold. I'd eat snow if I could get real snow in the summer.

I assumed cold to mean "with ice".
Cool to mean well below body temperature.
Warm to be near body temperature.
Hot to have been recently boiling—must be sipped.

I prefer water served with a meal to be cool.
Water alone for sipping, can have ice.
Warm or hot water need to be mixed with something—tea, coffee, some medicines.
