New Year's Resolutions 2018

Table Top Gaming and RPGs

1. Play/Run a new RPG.
2. Play/Run an ancient game (thinking of a microgame like WarpWar or Rivits.)
3. Create a new oracle, perhaps something Tarot based.
4. Participate in Game Chef 2018.
5. Participate in Solo Gamer Appreciation Month, #SGAM2018
6. Play test someone's game.
7. Create more content for Tangent Zero on DTRPG.
8. Create/Enhance a web toy for table top gaming.
+ Added optional card rotation and a basic card list to Zero Tarot
9. Do something crazy stupid like make a Tarot deck.
10. Add the major arcana of said deck to Zero Tarot.

Game Programming / 3D Models / Paper craft:

1. Create a web based dungeon explorer.
2. Create HymenopTerra as electronic game.
3. Participate in NaGaDemon 2018.
4. Create Flick Tanks.
5. Create a new DAT Builder with overlays.
6. Create 3d spaceship and mecha for Tarot project.
7. Participate in a game jam.
8. Complete Traveller project.
9. Create 3d deck plans.
10. Work on a new papercraft project.

Anyone else got resolutions and projects they're looking forward to working on this year?

If I don't make any, I can't fail to keep them. :D

No?
OK.

1) Spend less time responding to social media trolls and vile people in general. There are better ways to improve the world.
2) Spend more time being positive about things, no matter how I may personally feel about life at the time.
3) Write more.
4) More cooking experiments with my wife.

I have two. One easy, one hard. They may no be the ones you think they are.

First, finally get my black belt in taekwondo. It's been a four year process. I've lost no weight in the process. I can do five times are many push-ups in one sitting as I could when I started. I can do as many elevated push-ups now (feet up on a chair) as I could do normal push-ups when I started. I have seen similar gains in sit-ups. Vertical jump has gone from non-existent to being able to break a board 6' off the floor with a jumping front kick (with proper stretching before the attempt).

Second, finally get 100% in DuoLingo on my Swedish lessons.

"most" being the operative word there.

Of course, I was referring to trying out new recipes and cooking techniques together, but when the End of Days arrives, one must be prepared for all eventualities, eh?

True, true. Although, I suppose becoming a vegetarian *sigh* might be an option as well. Side note, lovely wife and I cooked Christmas dinner together in a small kitchen and nobody got stabbed. Good times!

1. Quit trying to cook at home. I hate it, I usually end up wasting a ton of money on food that I get bored of, and half the time, it tastes terrible. It always seems like such a good idea to try new stuff, yet most of the time, I'm throwing it out after one meal since even if it is OK, I usually don't feel like eating it again. I actually save money by eating out instead of cooking for one at home.
2. Quit spending so much and over tipping when I go out.
3. Spend less time screwing around online.

My only resolution is to get my game engine working.
Good night sweet prince: And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.

Curious minds (okay, maybe just me) want to know... Is it a table top RPG engine or a video game engine?
