I'm trying to get back into the Daily Boots. I'm shooting for five days a week instead of seven, because Wednesday just is not happening, and one extra day gives me a reasonable margin for error.

Yup. I am the pinnacle of ambition.

Grant and I will be doing our customary StG resolutions show pretty soon, but for mine, I've actually started using Habitica for tracking of stuff. It's got a lot of gamification features, but it's also just a really nice way of organizing everything.

Woot! Is Habitica going to be reviewed as part of the show?

In the past, I've either listed and it hasn't happened or I've listed it and ensured that it hasn't happened.

I know what my projects are, I'm just gonna pick one and finish it. Then rinse, repeat.

While the year was weak overall, I had great breakthroughs at FTC in my own games and it ended strong with paying commissions. I'm shooting to keep the momentum up.

so yeah might as well list mine

1. Finish the coding classes I signed up for and code up the games they're making me create
2. Actually try to get back to the weight I was at before 2015 reared it's stupid head
3. Learn how to edit my videos a bit better and how to make better thumbnails
4. Practice Japanese since around july or so the GF may be able to move into a position in her company that makes it so we move outta OKC & potentially to japan for a few years
5. if #4 goes through, get the marriage license so I can follow her there
6. Generally try to make this year less of an mental rollercoaster that makes me debate just ditching everything and disappearing with my car

I'm going with small stuff. Today, I got my pills for the next week sorted out before bedtime, and I'm going to try to make that a habit.

Exciting stuff. As to the last one, knowing that you're on a rollercoaster is half the battle. You can expect the highs, lows, and curves that life throws at you and ride them out until you get to the end.

We brought it up, yeah. "Reviewed" might be a little premature as we both JUST started using it in the last few days (Grant pounced on it immediately when I brought it up - it's always fun to start evening out the recommendation balance a little).

Picked up a course on Swift2 and iOS from Udemy for $10 instead of $200. I know enough iOS programming to be dangerous but Swift is different. I guess it's better than Objective-C, but that isn't hard.
