My new years is the same as last year. I don't like to make long checklists because I do those daily anyway.

I'm gonna read a book a month, and do a sort of staggered bookclub with a friend. Each odd numbered month we're gonna pick our own book to read, then on even numbered months we swap and read the book the other person just read. We're allowed a couple books we've read before so my January book is Reaper Man.

I forgot how much I love Terry Pratchett, I laugh out loud at least once a page, every line is pure gold. It's not often that genius is so not self-important.

I was listening to a personal productivity podcast and they suggested making quarterly resolutions instead of annual ones. Instead of making 4 resolutions and keeping none of them, make 1 for this quarter and concentrate on doing that one, then make another in April...

I figure a monthly status would keep be better focused than an annual or semi-annual thing.

10. Read ten new games

Technically, I have knocked that out of the park since I've easily read several dozen games this year already. But, a lot of those were experimental indie things only a few pages in size. In the meatier category, I have read Jinkies, Lancer, Knave, A Rasp of Sand, Troika, and working on Cepheus Light.

I've been doing pretty well with my working out. Getting one or two sessions in a week, a bit more than an hour each.
