As always, XKCD is on point.

Two great players in my group are leaving us to move to Florida. I mean, it's a great job for him. And she's sticking around for a few months to finish school before she moves down to join him so she'll finish running the Tomb of Annihilation campaign for us. So it's good for them. But I'll miss them.

Personally, I prefer this.

One of my coworkers is leaving to go to Amazon. It's a good opportunity for him but it's yet another good worker leaving.

I wish we could get our culture fixed so that we attract good people instead of chasing them away.

Alternatively, you could follow one of them to a better place.

Sure, but I don't think there's many of those locally and I don't feel like risking it. :)

Additionally, I haven't completely given up hope on the culture.

If there are none locally, then where is everyone going?

Most of them have moved out of the area. This is the second one leaving for Amazon(although the first no longer works there), another left for Google, one left for Disney, and another left for a late stage startup.

At least now I know that it's lantana I have to avoid due to being seriously allergic.

Also, 100% of the accidents I was in in my car (including the career-ender last night) were me getting rear-ended by someone else.

Insurance adjuster came and looked at my old car. He did some serious teeth-sucking before I managed to tell him I was OK with it being totaled. It served me well, but nothing lasts forever, and I can't control other drivers.
