Adding Video?

Video uses WAY more bandwidth than audio. We tried video with Skype and it was unusable once three people got online.
I need to push my group towards google+ to see if it works any better.

Nah. Position your webcam so it only shows your head and chest. And remember to turn it to the wall if you decide to stand up.

I've done Google+ hangouts with 10 participants with no video problems at all, with me on the cheapest option available for Charter cable. Whatever sinister magic Google is doing, it works. I suspect they are doing the heavy lifting on their servers, and delivering as small a load as possible to end users.
