I didn't bother this year, nothing really excited me. I like RtJ but I don't collect vinyl singles and I don't care about slip mats or boxes.

RTJ is pretty great. saw them at loufest

You don't like that there's a website that sells records?

It's Record Store Day, not a vinyl shop. This is a list of the selection for this year. If you wanted any of these titles you'd have to get up at the ass crack of dawn to stand in line for hours in front of a local record store to have a shot at getting some of these. I've seen people camp out in tents. None of the record stores will get all of these titles.

All of this years selections are a big ole Meh form me. I won't even be going later in the day this year to check out the left overs.

Meh

If I find that Crow Soundtrack somewhere after RSD for under $20 I might pick it up (likely not, it's going for $35.99). That's the only thing on that list that looked okay and even then I have to ask myself if I listen to that kind of music anymore.

Looks like you need a special player for 3 inch singles. I don't collect 45s as they are a pain in the ass with all the flipping and changing them out after one song so a 3in with a special player? How much can Jack White get up his own ass?

https://www.spin.com/2019/01/the-racont ... store-day/

Man, I love the Raconteurs but no thanks for that 3 inch single. Screw that gimmicky BS.
