Just so everyone is aware our email system was broken for a loooonnnnnggggg time. Since we do email verification for new accounts it was blocking new, real users and new real, fake users. We fixed the email so we should be getting some real people in... and spammers. I'm looking into some ways to shore up the defenses that I can't talk about out here for obvs reasons.
