Please don't hold your breath on my account, train wreck Ellie threw a monkey wrench in my gears and I won't be able to get to listen to the beastie for a bit.

Great episode. I'm impressed at how many ideas came out of that particular mash-up of words. I particularly liked the Kids-on-Bikes idea where the inscrutability of the phrase becomes the entire point.

Congrats on the big 100! Looking forward to where you go from here.

Thanks!
It still feels very odd to be in the triple-figures.

and I'm also looking forward to where we go from here ... wherever the hell it is :)
I've somehow ended up in a podcast
The Big Red Couch - Turning Random Ideas Into Playable Games. Mostly.

had another thought about this, ...

I was blown away by what people turned the Kids On Bikes idea into.
The idea of an interlocking troupe play intergenerational plot did not occur to me, and never would have. And I hope Trilobite can get a game using it going. (And that he can record it, because ... It'd be a fantastic ego boost for me?)

Episode One Hundred And One – No Time To Explain

Image

Ben comes up with a game about creating that “Walking Away From The Explosion” shot, and Craig pitches a furry/anthro game without realising it.

As a quick CraigNote:

I did something dumb with my side of the audio, and spent a bunch of time editing out horrible breathing & mouth noises from the recording.

Hopefully I got it all, but it's resulted in a noisy signal for my side of the conversation.
Sorry about that.

As a side note, this episode might have the most distributed editing yet - bits were done at my place in Aylesbury, in the first-class lounge at London Euston railway station, and in a hotel in Edinburgh

Another great episode, sorry I couldn't come up with anything for the prompt. The sound quality is fine, you did a good job cleaning it up Craig.

Netflix is already planning on a sequel to Bright. Lord help us.

Zootropia + Fans = Rule 34

So, what's the prompt for the next show?

Obligatory Story Pitch:
James Bond: Do you expect me to talk?
Auric Goldfinger: No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to Dance!

Hooray!!
And, thank you.

It got bad in places, and I was worried that I'd missed some of the noise, or that I'd cut too much and made myself even less comprehensible.

That would be The Day The Squid Said Hello.
The Christmas & New Year period had us even less organised than usual, so the card only got drawn a day or so before recording. We're back on track now. :?

furious scribbling
I had an idea drop into my head more or less fully-formed based on this one, though it's less of a game pitch, and more of an examination of Villains in RPGs

I've been trying to convince an Indianapolis friend to cosplay as Captain Underpants at Gen Con this year, so I think that makes me part of the problem. :D
