1632

Postby Ikoma » Wed Jan 16, 2019 12:14 pm

Started 1632 last night and I'm liking it. This little sub-genre of time travel bootstrapping history is a favorite of mine and I've always meant to read. I like it enough to know I want to read the series. But now I am confused. Do I need a flowchart to understand how this series fits together? How many authors are involved? Anyone got a cheat sheet for the series?

This wiki has the main books listed in publication order.

Looks like after 2004 there are also anthologies that other authors contribute to. I've never read any of these. I had the first book sitting on my shelf for years and sold it off in a move purge.

This series is so very far from my enjoyable reading material, but I loved 1633, I think it was, The Ram Rebellion. I've read bits and pieces of some of the others, too. I think Gamma-Ray has the complete set.

I have been looking at this series and thinking about jumping in. Only a couple of the books are available on Audible.

Yeah, I had to request 1632's audiobook be added to Utah's Online Public Library (my personal free audiobook source) and it looks like I'll have to request each and every book in the series be added one at a time. <sigh>
