The Mandalorian

Seen any good movies or TV shows lately? Or anything so bad you just have to vent?

I had no plans to buy this service until they hit me with the show about Jeff Goldblum learning new things and mumbling.

I guess I'll watch the Star Wars stuff now too.

Isn't that every Jeff Goldblum role since 2000?

Marvel already had me interested. The World According to Jeff Goldblum really sold it.

Have you tried it on PS4 yet? I could "mostly" get it to play stuff on other platforms, but the PS4 app never would play anything.

yea it was working for me on PS4 and firestick. i was actually surprised that I didn't notice any server issues on day 1.

Watched 90's Xmen cartoon and original Muppets movie (1979) with my kids. they had never seen either.

Then watched Mandalorian. very impressed. love all the little callbacks to the original trilogy, while still being it's own story. Unlike netflix, they are only releasing 1 episode a week (more like hbo), so if you want to binge the whole season you'll have to wait till the end.

Worked for me last night. The girls (re)-watched High School Musical. Then I watched The Mandalorian once they went to bed.

I am in. From the first scene, the team behind this are exhibiting a confidence and control that is impressive. Pilots are hard. This one scored. I love how little (and how much) we know about the Mandalorian. I love how seamlessly - and wordlessly - this fits into the larger Star Wars universe. Everything about the four storm troopers *screams* backstory. Backstory we aren't told. And the final reveal. Yeah, I want it now. Making me wait a week for the next episode is only gonna make me want it more.
