In Bruges is a movie that's so good it makes me angry. No movie should be allowed to be so tightly scripted, so beautifully shot, and so emotionally impactful while also being so modest in scope and ambition, so funny, so sad, and so dark, and yet so charming.
It might just be the best personal drama I've ever seen and I couldn't recommend it more to just about anyone. People who like black humor and situational irony will get that, people who like effective and believable personal drama between deeply flawed and human characters get that, people who like screw-ball action get that. It's an absolutely perfect version, of precisely what it set out to be.
Go check it out.

That part is certainly never not fascinating. Sex looks very different in a forest perpetually Flooded with brackish water than on the literal bottom of the sea or half way up a mountain in the middle of the arctic tundra.Lord Foul wrote:tombombodil wrote:I love nature documentaries.
