sure i'll play. ive got it on pc and ps4, sadly the accounts don't transfer so they're completely separate.

pc has more cards, but i prefer ps4 couch play

* EDIT: actually it looks like cross play is enabled, just not cross-account, so I'm good to go. Just have to start fresh with cards again, nbd.

I talked about on the most recent episode we recorded so we'll see if the idea picks up steam. If enough people join in then Dan said he's throw in some FtB prize support.

cool. there's no in game tourney support right? so we'd just have to arrange matches outside of the game

Correct, I figured we'll just make some brackets and go from there.

I have not played the Witcher games so I looked up a video. That looks like a pretty interesting and fairly unique game among CCGs. I may download it and check it out.

Not sure I'm ready to commit to a league of it just yet.

Does that cross-play cover the X1? I played the closed beta on the X1 and loved it. I would totally be down.

Replying to myself... :ugeek:

Found my answer here: [https://www.playgwent.com/en/faq]

"Do you support cross-play / cross-buy, i.e. purchasing items on platform A and using them on platform B / playing with gamers on other platforms?
CROSS-PLAY: We can confirm cross-play between Xbox One & PC, and PlayStation 4 & PC. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 cross-play is not possible."

So kinda... come on Sony/Microsoft, get it together! Haven't you seen the latest Pepsi add?

Also...

"CROSS-BUY: When GWENT launches on Windows 10 as an UWP (Universal Windows Platform) application, the account between UWP and Xbox One will be shared. That means progress and cards are shared between both platforms. Otherwise, every platform is independant and your progress will not be synchronized if you switch platforms."

So I think I'll be able to just use the PC if I need to play a PS4 player. Never tried this Windows cross-account stuff before so this will be new.
