It's basically TF2 with more variety but less elegant design.

I'm not sure I agree with that statement.

And not from a 'Overwatch is better!' standpoint, just... did you play TF2 after they started adding community weapons and loot boxes? Every class has a ton of builds now, I think Overwatch and TF2 are pretty tied for variety. And as for elegant design... when it was first released it was smooth and well balanced but man that game kinda became a mess. Not to mention that it probably has one of the worst loot box systems - you earn boxes from random drops but you need keys that cost $2.50 to open them... so you either pay money, have a bunch of unopenable loot boxes in your inventory, or start trading with other players (which was kind of a mess in its own right).
