No worries; we understand that work comes before play  hope it's all working smoothly again

I'll say there is a glass covered lantern that hanging on the wall that can be lit and carried while in the basement. I'd do a IC post but I'm pressed for time.

Thank you, but would be useful to have a direction indicator too (NESW). It's for plotting against the above ground layout (river and mill etc).

The stairs are at the front of the house. To keep it easy let's say his house is south facing. That puts the river North and the Mill Northeast.

Added this note to the map entry as well as a link to the map on the first page of this OOC Thread

Sorry, but that still doesn't do it. The stairs are at the front of the house, which is south facing, but on the map does that mean south is towards the bottom or towards the left?

I'm enjoying the relay. Violet seems the most prepared would she have though to bring some rope? If not Yannock can have some is a shed out back.

Violet is a weaver and did have her travel bag prepared when leaving West Haven. However, I think it more likely she'll have various brightly coloured string and yarn than anything that could be considered rope. Fine as a signalling device but not strong enough to pull a hobbit out of a landfall.

A little annoying that Doug becomes deaf as soon as Dollin turns up. Still, hopefully he'll let us know what he hears.
