Dollin sets about retrieving his daggers. Hopefully the one that missed didn't end up in the trapped zone!

Billie investigates around the corner and finds no threats, just other tiny harmless fungi growing in the patch with the dead shriekers.

Dollin has no problem retrieving his daggers.

It takes a few tries for Rowan to get the rope close to Alloria. In fact Doug manages to free himself and tie it around her waist. As they are about to work together to free the druid the tubers slack and release.

At the same time watchfully Acker happens to look at the mineral deposit above the group's heads. His innate stonecunning and years carving rock tell him one thing "Wait, that's no rock".

With Doug's divine rebuke wearing off, the large grey leafy vine slams one of its wiry tendrils into Acker and wrapping around him. The dwarf then feels it painfully constricting him.
[Slam 25 to hit, 14 dam, followed by a grapple check 30(18+12) vs Acker's 17, constrict dam 15]

The release of the tubers was only temporary as they adjust positions to try to re-ensnare every one

Acker tries to hack his way free of the constricting vine.

Waraxe: roll 11+5 = 16, damage 8+5 = 13
Shield: roll 11+7 = 18, damage 2+6 = 8

Reflex save: 7+4 = 11

Reflex save: 18+3 = 21

She moves to escape from the entangle area.

Billie swears loudly as the vine cracks into Acker, causing her to jump and spin around to survey the scene. With a growl of frustration, she takes a shot at the plant.

To hit: 10-1= 9
Dmg: 8

Reflex save: 2+/- whatever

Dropping his rope, Rowan turns at the grunt of pain from behind him. Without pausing, he leaps the distance towards his friend and grabs on tight, attempting to pry him out of his foliatory clutch.

To hit: 13+6 = 19
Disarm check: 12+2 = 14

Reflex save: 19+2 = 21

Having retrieved all of his daggers, Dollin lets rip with the one in his hand.

To hit: 18+4= 22
Damage: 1-3= 1

Reflex Save: 18+5= 23

Alyssa manages to avoid getting ensnared by jumping of the wall. Following up with stab of her dagger into the vine.
[24 to hit 3 dam]

Acker doesn't manage to break free of the grasp of the vine

Alloria fires an arrow at the vine but here aim is slightly off.[14 to hit]

A raging Mochyn sticks his head and claws out from the ceiling above the vine and attacks it. He scratches and bites the vine. [19,15,15 to hit, 5,4,3 dam]

Once again a wave of power flows from Doug and the vine let's go of Acker and holds still. [Vine's ac drops from 15 to 13]

With the vine paralyzed by Doug and its ensnaring tubers not as effective, the group makes quick work of the creature and as it expires so does its entangle spell.
