Rowan steps forward to clap both Acker and Doug on the shoulder. "Stay safe. We'll be waiting for you."

With that, he props himself up against a tree with a view of both the captured goblins and the trail towards the ruins.

Billie was approaching the group silently, hoping to use her ring to prank the others, when she hears the final smatterings of conversation. Working out what's happening, she decides to follow along behind the trio towards the ruins.

Seratha leads the Doug, Acker, and Billie towards the tomb, in a few short minutes the group crosses the grassy clearing and enter the tomb. Stepping on and crossing the fallen wooden doors, Seratha says a few words, gestures with her hand and her book begins to glow giving off enough light to illuminate the room.

The entrance room is twenty feet across and fifty five feet wide. The walls are smooth stone. Two doorways are present in this room. One to the left and near and the other on the other side of the room. The wall around far doorway has a mural carved into it depicting several armoured figures engaged in battle with various monsters and demons.

"Can you at least tell me where the item is hidden?" Seratha asks.

"We're not absolutely sure, but it's close to a statue of a man on a horse, we know that much," answers Doug.

"Does that sound familiar to you?"

Acker eyes scan the area every step they have taken. He's trying to trust... but he finds it tough.

Doug takes a closer look at the mural.

"This is fascinating. Presumably this has some connection with the tomb we're in. Do you know anything about these people and the creatures they're fighting?"

Are there actual doors in the doorways, or are they open as the main entrance was? If open, Billie will move ahead slightly to peer into the nearest door on the left.

"That statue sounds like the one Sextus Varius." Seratha says "I know of it and can show it to you." When Doug asks about the Mural Seratha replies "The Delian Order. Centuries ago they were knights who believed everyone fell into three categories: Law, chaos and undecided. Anybody they believed was on the side of chaos was an enemy to them. Demons, Goblins, Trolls, Wood woses, etc" She points at various images as she names them. The last one, wood woses, is an image of the same creatures that attacked West Haven. "Anybody they considered undecided they tried to convert to their way of thinking. The ends justified the means in the Orders eyes, as long as you followed the law they didn't care how you battled chaos. Here..." she brushes off an engraved metal plate on the floor. "their oath: To serve law, battle chaos, and to keep the Delian lore secret."

The plate's text is written in some ancient form of the common tongue. As some words on it haven't changed over the centuries but others are unrecognizable by current writing practice.

In Acker's observations of Seratha he doesn't notice any triggers or movements that he should be worried about.

Billie peers into the opening to the left she can see a small 10' by 15' room. The archway in the centre of one of the longer walls. A couple of rough beds are in here. She surmises the goblins are using it as a place for those on watch to get some sleep.

Doug studies the inscription, committing the Delian oath to memory.

"We have run into the Wood woses ourselves," he says to Seratha, his expression speaking of things he'd rather not have experienced. "I believe we have sufficient common cause with this order to avoid any... unpleasantness here. Although, it may be prudent to keep your goblins out of sight should anything materialise." :eh:

"Have you noticed any... unusual activity... supernatural stuff, odd noises... that kind of thing?"

Acker is already out of his comfort zone, entering this lair of goblins peaceably. The statue of the... what did she call it? Wood wose? Whatever the name is, the statue disturbs Acker. His hand tightens on his axe. But he faces it. Taking a step forward, he tries to memorize the being, turning it from a bad memory into a more mundane thing.
