I think the approach set out in Doug's last post seems to be generally agreed. I was just waiting to see if any of Arbuthnott's other chars wanted to pitch in again, but if not I think we're good to go.

Sounds like Billie is now thinking of sticking with the party. Alyssa can move around independently if she is invisible. Just up to you how much she keeps the rest of us informed of her movements and actions.

I guess we're looking for Alyssa to kick things off, then the rest of us will get moving... in a bunch... in a bunch!

That sounds agreeable. Billie has decided to wait before attempting to create any sort of distraction until she knows a bit more about what she's walking into. Ever her wisdom isn't low enough to try doing something like this without knowing if she'll be able to see or not!

Otherwise, yeah, Doug's plan is good, and none of my characters really have anything more to add other than 'sounds good'

I was reviewing some stuff before I started this combat and I found out that the Knockdown feat had been errata'd from "Whenever you deal 10 or more points of damage to your opponent in melee, you make a trip attack as a free action against the same target."
to
"Whenever you deal 10 or more points of damage to your opponent in melee with a single attack, you may make a trip attack as a free action against the same target. Use of this feat cannot be combined with Improved Trip to generate an extra attack, and successful use of this feat does not grant an extra attack through the Cleave or Great Cleave feats."

Do we need to change feats or are you still good with knockdown as per the errata?

Damn, that ruins everything. Yeah, no, I'm going to have to entirely rethink Rowan from top to bottom, and somehow make it work with what we've seen so far.

Bloody erratas getting in the way of perfectly good characters. My own fault for not spotting it, though.

I won't change anything, Rowan took it and he'll lie in it, but I might definitely look into swapping out our for something next level up.

I've had a Google, and the errata in 'Swords and Fist' came out 8 months before 'Deities and Demigods', which contained the non-errata feat. If you're going by last one published...

Up to you, though. DM's word is law

I'm not going to jump on the issue of which version of the feat to use in your game.

I'm just here to note that errata is a plural; the singular form is erratum.
