Age of Sigmar

Folks,

I have started learning Age of Sigmar. I played my first game against Gyro LC (from this forum) Saturday. It was our first game (for both of us) with this version of the rules. He was playing some updated stuff for Free People. I was playing Nighthaunt.

Any theory, recommendations, etc for playing?

Any experiences you care to share?

I have not played AoS yet so my post won't be super helpful hehe. I played Fantasy Battle all through gradeschool and highschool but was eventually gently-forced to switch to 40k since that's what all my friends played. I stopped playing for like 8 years but am back into it now, and as much as I want to play AoS, all my friends still play 40k lol. I am however planning on stealing some of the AMAZING ork models from AoS to use in my Space Orks army.

You should post your ongoing experiences because I might be able top convince at least one of my friends to try it out with me.
