Postby Kier Ordo » Wed Aug 20, 2008 6:59 am

Behold, the episode hath dropped.

Talk about Episode 112 here.
(though I am not sure how it is that I beat all of the rest of you to posting this...)

Good episode. Very immersive. It really makes me feel like I was there...
Because it is (a bad thing).

I think that the live audience totally worked. Chris and Dan both sound as though they could host a talk/game show. Good episode guys

That was a cool episode. The Q&A was entertaining. The comments by Dan and Chris about superhero and horror games was interesting. In our group, these two genres have produced some of the most memorable campaigns in our history. If you guys have not spent much time with these types of games, you might want to give it another try.

My thoughts of this episode are summed up in one picture.

Dan sounds really different.

Skype is REALLY not kind to Chris's voice.

Dan sounded much more relaxed than I would have expected from descriptions of his "non - podcast" persona. And I take that to be a sign that he was really enjoying himself at Gencon.

It is really easy to hear why Dan is so intent on getting Chris's compressor working - after hearing his "real" voice and comparing that to the skyped voice of previous episodes, it would drive me insane to edit FTB episodes knowing that problem was so severe.

Chad... you never change, do you? ;)

C is for Chewbacca, that's good enough for me.

Bud, Coors and Millar anything, are not beers.

I don't have a gold card, but podcasting for dummies sounds like a good place to start.

How many copies?! Answer the question!! ;)

Good question: what other podcasts do the hosts listen to? Or do they?

Superhero games would be tough? I'd like to hear Dan's thoughts on this in an episode.

Fun shows guys, wish I was there. :D

the groups that I've played with have had great fun and adventure playing super heroes. we haven't had as much luck with horror. It is a goal of mine to be a part of a good horror RPG at some point in my gaming life.
