I left that off because, well, FTC 12 just isn't going to happen this year, we're going to have to wait until 2020. There may be some sort of offline thing, but it won't be FTC. This is basically the listeners wanting to have it, and as a new and infrequent host, I still consider myself a listener, so I jumped in to help with some of the planning.
The discord has been a pretty neat place to hang out and chat about things in a different format. The Facebook group has also become a common place for listeners to discuss and share things. While the forums are great, not everyone takes the time to leave their other social media outlets to come to the forums and communicate. I'm actively trying to do more of that lately, as I've struggled with remembering to check the forums in the past because it's not tied to my regular routines. I'm sure that's how it is with most of the others who do not participate as heavily on the forums.
I am open to ideas for an offline get-together/gaming event in St Louis, and I'd be willing to help with that as well (Zach Lorton has already approached me about helping). If you have suggestions, feel free to let me know.
