Re: What Video Games are you playing?

I'm playing MSFS2020... Oh, wait, no I'm not. Microsoft decided they didn't want to allow people to preinstall their massively hyped 150g install game that has to stream a shit ton of data to run. Well, maybe in 2021. You need to thread the needle. https://i.imgur.com/5aeRk1T.jpg <Not mine, I don't...

Re: Happy Things Go Here

I think Amber alerts are a great system and have help a large number of people. That said I had to disable mine. More than once I have gotten my phone going off at 3AM to tell me there is an Amber alert involving someone in a white sedan last seen in a neighborhood in Chicago. I live in STL, Chicag...

Re: Happy Things Go Here

Last night as I was driving home, I got an emergency message from the local PD. 17-year old autistic boy missing. He was found several hours later, several miles away from his house up on the local mountain side. No word on how he wandered away from home or why he went to a local hiking trail, but ...

Re: Happy Things Go Here

Should we consider starting a thread for emerging vehicle technologies? I ask because this subject has lasted quite a while and doesn't seem likely to run out of [insert energy source here] any time soon. I suggest quoting the major points from this conversation in the first post. I could see a car...

Is there any game play footage? I do love Necromunda but 40K video can be hit or miss.

Saying it out loud it sounds dumb, but watching it makes more sense. She's sitting in a pizza box and using the lid to hide behind.

Re: Random Moving Pictures Thoughts

I'll add to this though that some stuff would be really hard for Disney to put on their streaming service now days, thinking of things like Song of the South and... a ton of movies really. Like a lot of Shirley Temple's stuff, Charlie Chan, I'm betting there is more then a few black face movies in t...

Re: Random Moving Pictures Thoughts

I'm not sure anything will or will not be part of D+. This is the company that has their 'Disney Vault' after all. There are a LOT of movies and shows that Disney has, tons of old classics, lots of newer stuff that isn't on D+ now. This is a company that has made a fortune on product obsolescence an...

Re: Random Moving Pictures Thoughts

This is part of my greater concerns about the film industry. I don't know that the 'Home Premiere' market can provide the kind of revenue Hollywood needs to keep making something like the MCU. Martin Scorsese might be thrilled. The blockbuster might be taking a break and smaller films might make a ...
