Re: Elder Scrolls (OOC)

Had a biopsy done this week on a thing in my knuckle. Couple of stitches. Because of the circulation issue, it's taking awhile to heal. Can't really type right now, but shouldn't be out of commission for too long.

Re: Elder Scrolls (OOC)

The wording of Deathwatch sounds like it should work, LF. I kinda suspect that they didn't intend for a 1st level Cleric spell to bypass invisibility and make most of the detection spells obsolete though. Also, I think it would spoil the tension. The rule of cool has been playing mostly to your bene...

Re: Elder Scrolls: The Final Scroll (IC)

Not sure if it'll help here, but Hengis has both Darkvision and Deathwatch, which might allow him to see better, or maybe at least pick out all bodies in the vicinity. If he can he'll be looking for the dunmer of course, and as soon as he can he'll cast a Fly spell to allow him to move freely. Unle...

Re: Time for Another Alignment Thread!

You can have two characters who are mostly the same, hold the same general views and positions and approaches to things, and are different alignments... Spoken like someone who's done actual organizing work. It would be an understatement to say I'm politically active, and I've got a whole pil...

Re: Elder Scrolls (OOC)

Sorry about the excitement of the scene being tempered by poor pacing. Hopefully it's dynamic enough a combat to cover for me.

Re: Elder Scrolls: The Final Scroll (IC)

Sorry, I was having trouble keeping up with the changes from the last statblock. Note though that damage reduction is represented as "(amount of damage ignored)/(type of weapon that bypasses it)", so a DR of 10/magic is bypassed by magic weapons. Sounds like you're still good to go, thoug...

Re: Elder Scrolls (OOC)

I'm not sure about the rules, but it seems like the damage would take out the temporary points first, as it does with hit points. We'll go with that.

Re: Grumbly Things Go Here

Oh, for fuck's sake! Look, just ignore all my petty whinging about slow games and all. I had no idea how much shit you are having to deal with. I'll just go and sit quietly over here in my perfect stress-free life... :shifty: Ha, well it's gutters and strikes. Right now I'm at my favorite restauran...

Re: Elder Scrolls: The Final Scroll (IC)

Round 5, cont... Hengis closes the gap with a single stride and underhands his mighty hammer into the dunmer's stomach (48 dmg). The blow is a brutal one, but the foe remains fast enough to turn aside Hengis' two following blows. Qadir uses the elf's engagement to circle around the edge of the room...
