Re: Episode 521 - Grinding Gears

Other gear grinding moments - As a player: 1. When I make a move based off the little facts that I know and the tone of the game (this feels like it would fit the setting), and the GM snowballs it into a terrible choice. 2. When I have success hidden behind multiple rolls to increasingly make succes...

Re: server migration

Quick notice: my Chrome is having trouble loading the page. It drops a lot of the hotlink stuff over the navigation buttons at the top. I tweeted @feartheboot a screenshot (because I technology). I am not having the same issues with explorer or (shudder) Edge.

Re: Which acrylic paints do you recommend?

Update: I picked up the wrong starter set from Vallejo and purchased a couple of single colors - I would have been better served purchasing the basic set, or the base set from Reaper, I think. None-the-less, I got started on some figures and they are turning out quite nicely. I just need to keep con...

Re: How Often Do You Change Campaigns?

). - My games: Planned to run 3 - 6 months and end after 1-2 years at a mid-point because of plot-bloat (my owns fault), where I have too much going on and the players can never quite take care of everything in the story line. We wrap up after they finish a specific plot point and I need a break, b...

Re: How Often Do You Change Campaigns?

My campaigns usually run one of several routes: - Games the other GMs in my circle: Planned to go 1-2 years but things break down due to commitments after about 3 months. Boo. - Current Game (with me as a player and another Booter as GM): We have been going maybe a year and I don't know if we have a...
