I'll say that someone "does [action of some sort] religiously", meaning twice a year at most and grudgingly.

Yeah, and of those types it's the ones without a connector (other than the audio cable) between the ear pieces that I prefer. I was able to find "over the ear" padded earphones without a connecting bar... I'm quite happy with them, even though they still sometimes tangle with my glasses uncomfortably.

Also, a DoS using spam links would be hella counter productive. Spammers are frequently not the folks who directly benefit from the sites they reference, but instead are just middle men pushing the links out... To drive traffic is their goal. So, sure, a DoS would negatively impact the ID thief's IS...
