Re: What have you watched recently?

Re: What have you watched recently?

Supernatural All 15 Seasons I think we started in June. I hear some people hated the last episode. I loved it. It was exactly what it should have been. (though Sam's makeup was pretty lame) It probably played better as the final episode of binge-watching than it did if you watched it one...

Re: Happy Things Go Here

I'm a software developer but I've never worked on games. I've always imagined game development as the collision of all the worst aspects of the business side of software development: ⋅  Deadlines that generally cannot move. ⋅  Bleeding edge technology. ⋅  Constantly shi...

Re: Speculation on Changes to the Movie Industry

The bigger impact is that HBO Max is trying to discourage the 'pick up a sub for two months, watch everything I want, then let the sub expire' kind of behavior I see from a lot of people on other streaming services. One downside (to the streaming services) of the drop the entire season at once mode...

I am happy to report that despite Covid-19's 100% infection rate of the Memo household, we are now all alive and well(ish).

Re: What have you watched recently?

Because of an online acquaintance snarking at it on Twitter, I've been watching Doomsday Preppers on Netflix. Dear Mr Rogers, these people are terrible and need better hobbies than burying tubs of guns like heavily armed squirrels... Maybe the best thing these people can do with their guns is to bu...

Re: What have you watched recently?

Dr Who - The Faceless Ones The second doctor, Jaimie, Ben and Polly accidentally land the TARDIS on the airport runway in a London Airport in July, 1966 - and then hilarity ensues - but not really. There are aliens there running a fake travel service for young people but instead of taking them to fa...
