Re: Gary Con XII (March 26-29, 2020)

Re: Chessex D6s Roll More 1s than Casino Style Dice

Oh yeah, I'm sure the casino dice test is rigorous and professional, and probably linked to a manufacturing QA procedure. "a cube of 36 chessex dice" is really a single anecdotal data point, though. 30 cubes of chessex dice would be better, especially if they were sourced to different runs...

Re: Chessex D6s Roll More 1s than Casino Style Dice

Interesting, indeed. It's very preliminary. There's no control to account for a "bad batch", especially since some of the dice were specifically bought as a set. Still, i do have a pair of casino dice somewhere...

goatuniiiiiiiiiiit!!! Great news about your freedom from pain! That's got to feel like a whole new lease on life. Folks here have been terribly concerned. Glad your other trials and tribulations have been sorted as well. I spend waaaay too much time on Roll20 (I was a moderator for a while), but if ...

Re: How Often Do You Change Campaigns?

3-7 years, but with frequent breaks to play in other long-running campaigns. We have a lot of GMs in our group and we take turns to avoid burnout.

Second this. And honestly, either version is fine. Both are great performances.

Re: Bright Burn

Just watched the trailer. I hadn't even heard of it. I may get around to watching it eventually, but it doesn't look like something I'd want to pay extra money for. I'll wait for streaming.
