Episode 511

I was recently in St. Louis for a company meeting and had about an hour to go walk around the arch and I was thinking "This is where Lee almost died" (and the battle from Percy Jackson) It was cool to see it and have a better picture of what was going on.

Re: Pathfinder 2E Playtest

So, I'm trying to decide between 5e and PF2 for our family game. Me my wife and 10 and 12 YO daughters. From what I'm hearing there is a lot more crunch in PF2 than 5e and I think I would like to keep it to something more simple. Those of you who have played both is this a fair assessments?

So I have heard in the past about people bringing kids to FTC. How kid friendly is it, are there kid games or a place for them to hang out during the con?

Re: SoG Ep 17 - Holy Bawls!

Yeah, Lee started bossing the Overseer's people around like he was in charge and while that was presumptions at best and law breaking at worst the really bad thing was the people listened to him and did what he said. That completely undermined the Overseer's authority which is bad normally but a cr...

SoG Ep 17 - Holy Bawls!

Great game! I love listening to this to get my gaming fix. Can you help me understand how Lee got masked again? Is it just because there "is no law" down there? I'm not sure I understand the context well enough and how does that mess with his place in the game? Does he have to stay in STL?

Re: What boardgames are you playing?

After a freaking year of trying my family finally killed Voldemort in Harry Potter Battle for Hogwarts. My oldest got the expansion for Christmas so we are going to be playing it again shortly.

Re: Star Wars: The Last Jedi ** SPOILERS **

Just as The Force Awakens took story elements from A New Hope, as shown in the trailers, this takes some from Empire. It also takes a rather surprising one from...somewhere else. You'll know it when you see it. Okay, what did I miss? Once the fleet chase began, my first thoughts were "Ok, we'r...
