It has sort of a Rogers and Hart feel to it.

Bumping a super old thread because a BBC article on Ed Catmull, former President of Pixar, reminded me to revisit the first time this came up.

Re: Random Video Game Thoughts

The people that made Crypt of the Necrodancer are doing a Zelda version! I'm not big on rhythm games but i played a lot of Necrodancer. I never did get good enough to get to the final boss. Crypt of the Necrodancer is pretty great. It scratches exactly the right itch for me and it has become my def...

... Then there's Into The Breach, which just blows FTL out of the water while holding on to a lot of recognizable aspects that are pretty great. That's a pretty bold assertion, but I can totally respect that opinion. I liked how FTL was followed by Convoy (which was much more open and less directed...

Re: The Best Movies I Have NOT Seen...

I did NOT expect to get this high a score in this sub-genre at all. Some good movies I have missed as well. Today's genre, Teen Movie : 1. Dazed and Confused (1993), directed by Richard Linklater 2. Lady Bird (2017), directed by Greta Gerwig 3. The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012), directed by St...

Re: What Video Games are you playing?

What sort of games fit on a tablet? I noted that Stardew is coming to a tablet format; something of that complexity (or simplicity) would be good. board games are good for tablet. also things like minecraft/fortnite work pretty well I really like board games on tablet. In terms of format/medium/int...

The word that I'd use for what you're describing, BV, is commodity . Paper towels are a commodity. Where, how, or by whom the paper towels are made doesn't really matter to me, either. Are they paper towels? Do they work like I expect paper towels to work? If so, then yes, they're equivalent to any ...

Re: Marvel's Netflix Shows

Just got around to finishing Daredevil S3. Wasn't really into it until the prison riot. I'm a sucker for long continuous shots and absolutely loved that episode. I really enjoyed Bullseye and Foggy remains the best. Overall, thought it was pretty good after a slow start. Glad I didn't give up on it....
