Re: Happy Things Go Here

For me it's the "downtime" factor.

How long does it take to charge? I can stop at a gas station and have a full tank in a matter of minutes. Hours and hours of charging? No thanks

Re: Grumbly Things Go Here

My girlfriend managed to hit a pole driving through a parking lot the other night. Dented the hood, broke the grill, and cracked the bumper cover. All parts I could replace in a few hours, but would need to pay someone to paint them if I couldn't get the right color from a junk yard. Oh, except the...

Re: Free Games and Stuff

I appreciate you (and others) taking the time to aggregate and list the freebies out there. Found some fun little things I'd never have even known existed this way.

Re: XCOM: Chimera Squad

Just finished Star Trek: Discovery Season 1 and 2 so grooving on the Sectoid-ish looking character (Reminds me of Saru), and enjoying the character personalities

Re: Sci Fi / Fantasy Book Reccomendations

The Wild Cards shared world novels are mostly good (wasn't a fan of books 9-12).
The more recent American Hero/Committee trilogy is a good point to start (although starting there would blunt a few of the big reveals)

Re: What have you watched recently?

Kinda all over the place. We started watching Supernatural, and are early in Season 2. But then CBS All Access upped their free trial from 1 week to 1 month, so we ripped through Picard and have a few days left to finish Star Trek Discovery. Apart from it looking more technologically advanced than e...

Re: Happy Things Go Here

New XCOM game! I don't know anything else about it... other than it exists. But I am already excited about. I honestly considered another XCOM run last night. Little digging. April 24th release date! YES! Only on PC? Well, not the end of the world but I would prefer it on Xbox One. Oddly it costs l...
