-- Campaign Paused --

I had a huge work adjustment, and now I am working out of state for the next 7 months. We are going to try doing the game over roll20 starting in January.

He was playing some updated stuff for Free People. I was playing Nighthaunt. Any theory, recommendations, etc for pl...

Re: What's your current game doing?

Not to mention the whole "don't worry, nothing will happen until you get there" assurance deflates all of the dramatic tension he's worked to build. Instead of being an epic adventure story, it becomes a video game where there are no real stakes because somehow there's always time to go e...

Re: Grumbly Things Go Here

If some rich jerk wants to waste money on a stupid statement about the U.S., he has every right to do so. Every now and then, I flip through government auctions - often seized property. I once found a carved marble toilet auctioned by narcotics enforcement. It had a list price comparable to normal ...

Re: Challenging Book Recommendation - HELP

I will throw my random 2 cents: - Deadhouse Gates , by Steven Erikson is the second book in a series but largely stands alone. It is an incredible book. - The Way of Kings , by Brandon Sanderson is also super epic, inspiring, and very clean. Not at all objectionable. - A Deepness in the Sky , by Ver...
