Re: Happy Things Go Here

I've some friends who used to work in game dev. It's really can be toxic. My friend literally saved the company tens of thousands if not the company as a whole (tldr saved the server and work stations from death). But she got tossed to the curb while working 70 hour weeks to make deadlines.

Re: Happy Things Go Here

I got a seasonal job!

Man my standards are low. Happy to get a minimum wage part time gig.

Final score of 98.2 on my tax prep coarse.

I could go back and get the last 1.8 points but I'm fine with that.

Good news: I am officially signing the on-boarding paperwork for a tax service.

Bad News: Being a tax service they don't actually have my location open till the end of December.

Re: Grumbly Things Go Here

Why must companies ask you to fill the same information that is on your resume multiple times. I just applied for a retail location and had to enter work history and education twice and submit my resume were all that info was in computer readable format. Minimum wage cashier position literally took ...

Re: It's what's for dinner tonight.

Made crumpets.

For breakfast I'm calling them one of the easiest food. I just never had crumpet rings. Today I was going in my cabinets and noticed my 3" spring form pans. The rings of the spring form pans worked a treat.

Something I could definitely see someone enjoying just owning. I think it holds up fine, but it has to be viewed as what it is...
