Luke Meyer
Lucias Meyer was born in the rural town of Hillsboro, Il in 1979. He spent most of his days in high school studying, playing sports, and generally worrying far too much about following the rules. Fortunately, he eventually got over that last one.
In late junior high he was first introduced to roleplaying games through AD&D Second Edition. He completely ruined his first game session because he couldn’t take things seriously. The group immediately broke up after that and Lucias eventually had to jump into the GM’s chair to pull the group back together. Since then, he’s rarely left that chair.
In the late 1990’s , he attended Truman State University where he received his B.A. in Biology. He then pursued his life-long dream of being an eye doctor by enrolling into optometry school. He graduated in 2005 and now owns his own practice.
During those last years of school, Luke joined eHarmony on a whim and ended up meeting his wife, Kim. The two have been married since 2005 and live happily near Luke’s office with their two dogs, Maeby and Ginger.
Luke has a fairly extensive gaming background from playing with a wide variety of groups. His most memorable campaigns have been with Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Vampire: The Masquerade, Deadlands, Hackmaster, and Savage Worlds. He is also a miniature wargamer who still wishes VOR: The Maelstrom would come back, but otherwise occupies his time playing Warmachine and Hordes.
