HAHAHA!! YES! DAWN! I spent way too much time on their forums RPing just to suddenly not be able to find the forums anymore when it became obvious Dawn was vaporware. It was a front for what was actually a simplistic web-based strategy game that required actual money for accessing expansion areas if I remember right. They were also supposed working on a sort of Warcraft II/III type strategy game (named Dusk, I think? based off a sort of endgame scenario of Dawn… maybe, the details were getting ripped a new one at that point…) but I never did hear how much further they got. I know the roleplay community restarted on another forum somewhere else, but it had lost most of its appeal to me by that time. I played Kaesora, if anyone remembers. If you get the EverQuest reference in that name, you get a cookie.
Also, to anyone who has trouble getting this episode to run, I downloaded it and ran it in Media Player Classic, actually, but I have a bunch of extra codecs downloaded for that. Winamp might run it (I can only seem to get it to run the sound as I try it now). I couldn’t get it to run in the website itself because Quicktime apparently has decided its the plugin of choice and pretty much just gave me a big question mark of “what is this thing you are trying to do with me?” So yeah, download it and try running it in a real video program.
ah man and I left the comment on the wrong episode. Oh well, this was meant for Episode 100, which I went ahead to look at. *pokes comment* bad comment… wrong page…
