The “empty spaces” point in the mapping discussion is key – a GM should only prep what is plausible to be encountered, and for setting purposes. Tracking the npcs is hardest – so good prep will have some name/profession combos on a sheet before the sessions – so if you need an extra minor character, then you just snaffle a name.

When Chris said “…to that point about, you know, length and volume…” (56.33) I thought it was about to turn into a bonus episode. If only Pat was there ;-)
