The car ride videos have a name now, thus making it the third in the series.
More face time, less traffic shots.
I watched the hot dog video to the end and it was awsome! Who are these people who stop watching a video that short half way through?
I like the idea of video, but the problem with this video is the same problem I have with the Bourne movies. The shakiness makes me motion sick so some extent. As long as it’s taped in the car, you won’t be able to fix that unless you spend like $100 grand on a steady-cam rig.
Other than that, I think it’s great. Video gives the viewer a sense of immediacy and involvement. If you videoed the podcast (for example), yeah you’re not really conveying any real information visually, but that sense of involvement is still there. Even if the viewer isn’t watching the video and is instead just listening, he knows he still has that option and thus still feels involved.
It amused me greatly that Chad said “…at GenCon or in real life…” I can thus conclude that GenCon isn’t real.
Yay! They used my title. Yay!
I’d really love to have this on audio download. I don’t have much time to sit in front of a pc and when I do, I’m usually doing other stuff. But an audio on my mp3 player? I mean, there is no better use for hearing than listening to this stuff anyways ;)
