As the merchant sloop veers away, The Dagger lets loose a volley of cannon fire. Chain shot rips through sail and mast; only momentum keeps the ship moving, the Dagger easily catches up. The name La Sirène Ivre can be seen on painted on aft of ship as The Dagger approaches.

The Celt gives orders to bring the port side of th dagger up against the stern of the merchant vessel.

As the Dagger aproaches Black Stewart bellows, his voices carries easily over the ocean. "You've one chance to lay down your arms and surrender!"

He looks about his crew for anyone who looks Cajun or Haitian. "Any of you lads speak French? If so repeat my demands to them."

"I speak English" A gruff looking french man emerges from below deck his hands in the air. "Welcome to La Sirène Ivre. I am Capitan Gnarlsõn."

The Celt smiles his chipped gnarled teeth shine in the moonlight. His grin looks almost vicious, "Our demands are simple. Lay down any arms and assemble your crew on the main deck. We would like to take a look at your cargo and manifesto. Anything we wish to take we will. If you do not wish this we will take your lives as well. The sooner you choose the better of you are."

After a pause the Celt shouts, "If you've any wounded I am heart fully sorry. We've a doctor on our ship and I will also have him see to your wounded on our ship so long as you remain passive."

Gnarlsõn smiles back "I'll let you have a look at the hold but my men stay where they are. You take what you want and leave peacefully and we don't light the gunpowder and sink this ship with it's cargo."

Before boarding the melt issues the order to blow the ship apart at any sign of trouble.

Once the boat is grappled to the dagger Black Stewart steps aboard with a boarding party and greets the merchant captain face to face. He smiles and offers the captain his hand. How many men are aboard the merchant vessel? I want to take enough to outnumber them 2 to 1 if possible.

"Nice to know you are understanding but I don't think you'd blow yourself and your men to Davey Jones locker for whatever it is you have in your holds. It also happens to be a bluff I'm hesitant to call. Let's have a look shall we?"

"alright men, be on guard but don't be too jumpy, our men are over there and if anything happens to them may whatever god you pray to help you." After shouting these orders out he instructs William to stand in a spot where he can relay the orders as Hawk heads up top with his rifle, looking for a decent field of view and prepares in case anything happens while Stewart is off ship.

Gnarlsõn leads the 40 man boarding party to the cargo hold. On the way the Celt can see some of the crew of the La Sirène Ivre, scared but ready for a fight. Some are holding grenades and torches at the ready. Gnarlsõn gestures toward the cargo "Mostly just salt, spices, some limes, and a few cases of rum." The Celt notices the cargo hold seems a little smaller and emptier than it should be.

The Celt looks casually about eyeing for possible smuggling compartments.

He whispers to the members of his boarding party near him, "They've got something else on this ship. I feel it in my gut."
