DistinctlyBenign wrote: Why make cardboard armor when we could make a cardboard MECH? Because we haven't leveled up our Cardbard Construction skill yet. I don't know if that comes from direct use of the skill or if we can spend skill points on it after increasing the character level. If it's the latter, we should: A: Multiclass as Lumberjack and B: Spend Skillpoints on Cardboard Construction But that comes later. Right now, we should check the boxes for loot, then craft armor out of said boxes. Perhaps we can ditch this vaguely female disguise in favor of a more intimidating, storage-based appearance.

Open the boxes. Hope that they contain food, water, and/or money.
Try to access that brown shape icon thingy.

 Re: 32 Bit World
Forge cardboard armor out of the boxes. Of course you need armor! Forget the weird things in your vision, they are not nearly as important as this task. You open up the boxes to empty them and discover they are full of shredded paper and novelty mugs. They must mean something to someone, why else would they have bothered packing them away. Oh well, you discard the contents roughly on the ground. You then quickly craft you set of Card Board Armor! hm... this idea seemed better in your head. Is cardboard armor even practical? What do you do?

 Re: 32 Bit World
I'd say it's just as practical as D&D's padded armor. +1 to AC!
Now that we're rested and armored-up, lets go get some XP and low-quality/broken equipment.
Of course, we will need to get our weirdo a better combat weapon, any ideas there?

I must admit...I'm loving the armor.....Especially the fragile lettering.
A weapon sounds like a great idea.

 Re: 32 Bit World
Take the mattress as a weapon. A mattress is the perfect concealed weapon for a weirdo. It is huge, but nobody will think it is a weapon, until they get hit by it... and then they will be smothered by a huge mattress and unable to do much about it.

Mattresses are reasonably heavy, and can carry a pretty decent impact. At the very least, it'll floor somebody. Or crush a damn flying rat to the ground. I support this course of action.

 Re: 32 Bit World
Craft a cardboard backpack and stuff the 'female disguise' into it. Our Weirdo might have more use for it later.

 Re: 32 Bit World
No, the mattress would be a terrible weapon for the weirdo. Its size category is more appropriate for trolls and ogres. Sure, damage might be high, but the attack penalties would prevent us from hitting anything with it. We would be better off ripping some springs out of it to make shivs. > OPEN MATTRESS > GET SPRING > CRAFT SHIV North Wind wrote: Craft a cardboard backpack and stuff the 'female disguise' into it.
