Yeah, me too. Figured it was a show spoiler, not a book spoiler.

Not that I use the spoiler font a lot, but there probably should be some sort of distinction made on this thread if someone's going to post something about the books that hasn't yet occurred within the HBO series timeline... I'm not sure what spoiler you're referring to (cause I haven't gone back and caught up on the thread, yet) but a) I thankfully know it couldn't have been something I wrote, and b) if something got spoiled for you, that really sucks...

Good point.....I believe there's a thread for the books, so any material that has not yet taken place during the HBO episodes should really stay there. During HBO Season 1, a friend of mine dropped a massive spoiler on me.....it prompted me to go out and buy and read the rest of the books as a preemptive move.

Well I would look at it this way, if you're reading a thread about the show, you would expect things in the show to be talked about and spoiled, and so putting a spoiler tag on them seems redundant. Things from the book might be referenced but the thread itself isn't a giant spoiler fest, so book stuff should be marked.

I would completely agree, except that Tapatalk automatically previews the last message in each thread, so you end up seeing stuff. (Actually, since Tapatalk completely disregards the font codes, so spoilers get shown as regular text, it really doesn't matter. So I'll just agree with you...)

Re: HBO's A Game of Thrones
Well, that was pretty damned good. I loved the effects in the last scene. I liked the last scene as a whole, but I found the final shot to be a bit cliche as presented.
Brianne is so awesome. I loved her and Jamie together in the books and I think they play it well in the show.
Dinklage again pulls off a great performance, and the Lannisters just . . . just . . . God I hate them.
The more I dwell on it, the more I liked every story line last night. A good season finale.

It'll be a long wait until Season 3, but I fully intend on rewatching the entire series before then. Best show on the teevee.
