Post Steam
This thread be both about Steam IDs and other Steam related content.

I'm Ranneko on Steam and being Australian suffer from the inevitable region restriction issues. That said I still find it an invaluable source of games.

On that note, not only is this weekend a free TF2 weekend after the recent Heavy Update Beyond Good and Evil is on sale making it ($4.99), but only available to people in North America.

Similarly, if anyone were to gift me with that game that would get my undying appreciation as well as $5 via paypal or another named and viable payment system.

I'm on as Neosect on Steam and play TF2 quite frequently. Add me as a friend if you want. I'd love to be medic to some fellow Booters.

??

I'm so confused. I assume this is a video game? And I don't care enough to research.

Steam is Valve's digital distribution platform. I guess the easiest way to think of it would be a PC version of Xbox Live.

i.e. You have IDs, friends, communities, achievements and of course the ability to buy games and have them linked to your account so that you can download them on any machine that you use that you install Steam upon.

I picked up BG&E for the sale price. It's a nice bribe, but I'm still not sold on the Steam system. My son is more of a Steam fan than I am.

I'm karmuno ( :o ) on Steam, although I haven't been on in the last few weeks. Once school starts up I might start playing some TF2, since I'll have more things to procrastinate on.

I am on Steam as Timespike, and have wholly embraced it. I have SCADS of games on there, and while I don't always get the world's greatest download speeds, I really do generally like the experience. I'd like the ability to sort my games list by play time, but I half expect them to implement that at some point anyway.

I hate Steam, but I'm cheap. I have a bunch of games bought in bundles.

BottledViolence there too, I think.
